Procedures & Services > Diagnostic Testing > Multifocal (ERG)
The Retina Vitreous Resource Center offers a state of the art electrical test called a Multifocal Electroretinogram. This test is used predominantly to test the retinal function of patients receiving Plaquenil therapy for disorders such as Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Patients participating in a Multifocal (ERG) are asked to look at a stimulating pattern. As the patient watches the light stimulus change, a computer program collects data from each response and calculates the data into graphs and illustrations to show retinal function.
